Individual Therapy: Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions

Therapy can help you understand what you want or need, and why things just don't seem to be working. Sometimes a crisis becomes too difficult to manage alone. Or a situation is no longer tolerable. Or it may be a matter of being able to see the promised land ahead, but for whatever reason, being unable to reach it.

When emotions are overwhelming, when relationships feel destructive rather than supportive, when medication alone isn’t solving the problem, individual therapy may be the answer.

I provide a space where feelings, memories, and problems can be aired in a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental atmosphere.  Over the course of your treatment, old, destructive, or ineffective patterns come to light as we discover the threads that link your past and present experiences. With this new knowledge, you'll be able to overcome obstacles and resolve distressing issues, and set out new ways to achieve your goals. New patterns emerge to suit the stronger person you’ve become, which will be reflected in your relationships, attitudes, and overall satisfaction with life.
